PTO Overview

The Pierce PTO is comprised of parents, teachers and administrators. It is our goal to support the school, the students and the teachers by helping fund activities and equipment. We provide funds for field trips, classroom supplies, homework clubs, guest lecturers, special programs and more.

To have a thriving school community, we reach beyond the close of school each day and sponsor fun events for students, families and sometimes just grownups. This year our line up includes, Fit Fest in September, Skating in January and an Auction in May.

Communication is the key to our success. Our goal is to stay in touch with parents through a bi-weekly Broadsheet – our school newsletter - and our e-mail list Pierce Post. In an effort to be more “green” we hope to have the majority of our news on-line by December. In addition, topics of interest and Principal updates are shared at Meetings, Principal Forums and Community Breakfasts.
