The Pierce School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) includes all of YOU! It is made up of all parents and teachers at Pierce school.
Our mission is to help raise and spend funds to enhance the academic experience of our children. Our guiding principle regarding spending is to benefit the greatest number of children.
In order to achieve this mission we need lots of help and there is a fit for everyone in our community. In addition to activities, the PTO aims to raise and distribute $50,000 each year, approximately $80 per child. The top PTO-funded projects last year were:

- Teacher Reimbursements - The PTO reimburses each classroom teacher for classroom supplies, teaching tools, and other items they purchase on behalf of their classrooms.
- Academic enrichment - including after-school programs such as sports, morning reading and math, Books for Bingo, Math Night and more.
- Cultural enrichment - including International Pot Luck Supper and various multicultural in-school performances and assemblies.
- Field trips for all grades
- Technology Purchases
- PTO events - FitFest, Skate Night, March Madness, Book Fair and the Pierce Picnic.
