WHAT MAKES PIERCE NOT JUST A SCHOOL...
BUT A COMMUNITY OF FAMILIES?

When your children come home from school, what do they talk about? Maybe it is about something new and exciting that they learned that day or the fun they had during recess. Perhaps it will be a story or two about a field trip, the Techsploration assembly, or a new book discovered in the library. These are the stories made possible by your gifts to the PTO.

The PTO spends about $65 per student, or over $100 per family.  Did you know that because of your support:

• Your children’s teachers receive up to $300 each — a total of $15,000 — for supplies for your child’s classroom.
• Dancers, musicians and artists perform at school to enhance what our kids learn.
  
• Field trips are more affordable for all Pierce families.
  
• We can host events like Fit Fest, Skate Night, and March Madness.
  
• Early morning reading and math and Bingo for Books and Math Night supplement classroom instruction.

The PTO needs to raise $50,000 annually to continue to fund these programs.  
Please make a gift of any amount.

• $25 each from ten families would fund morning reading and math
  
• $50 each from eight families would keep Skate Night free
  
• $100 each from three families could underwrite Bingo for Books
  
• $200 each from four families would fund one class’ bus costs for a field trip
  
• $500 would subsidize an in-school cultural performance

All contribution records are maintained by the treasurer and are kept confidential.
Checks can be given to PTO Co-Chairs, Treasurer, or sent in your child's home/school folder.

PIERCE GIVES FINAL UPDATE: WE MADE IT!
Thanks to everyone who has donated to the campaign.  Four out of 10 families have said "Yes," totaling just over $25,000!
